Ties Voskamp (May 3, 1995) was born in Rotterdam and grew up in Brielle. As a ten-year-old boy, he discovered an old dusty drum kit in the attic. Despite the fact that the set was incomplete and a metal lamp served as a hi-hat, it was love at first sight.
Music has never let him go, and led to him starting a second study at the conservatory in Haarlem in 2017. At the conservatory, he further developed into a professional musician under the guidance of main subject teachers Mark Eshuis and Joost Kroon. Here, his knowledge of various genres has grown enormously. Genres such as Pop, Jazz, Rock, Latin, Punk, Funk and Soul have all passed in review.
Since then, he has shared the stage with a wide variety of artists and musicians. He is also active with his regular projects Cocobolo and Melle.
